Prior to joining CCDC in January 1995, Peter Hall was president and chief operating officer for the Great American Development Company, “GADCo,” the real estate development subsidiary of Great American Bank.  He was formerly advisor to, and managing director of, Venana Realty Advisors, an international venture capital fund for California residential real estate development.  He initially came to San Diego in 1970 with IBM Corporation Data Processing Division.

Mr. Hall’s extensive civic and professional involvement includes membership in the Urban Land Institute Corporate Director’s Forum, San Diego Chapter of Lambda Alpha International, UCLA Chancellor’s Associates, San Diego Museum Partners in Art, San Diego Opera, and the San Diego Forum.  He has served on the boards of directors of the Building Industry Association in San Diego, University of San Diego’s Center of Real Estate and Regional Development, and San Diego Sports Training Foundation.  Mr. Hall has served as past president of the San Diego Chapter of Lambda Alpha International and been an advisor to the USC Lusk Center for Graduate Studies in Real Estate.

Mr. Hall holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s in business administration from University of California, Los Angeles.  In addition, he completed Indiana University’s Executive Development Program.
