2006 CALL TO ACTION SPONSORSHIP

TARGET:  To Align Your Company With The Chamber’s Business Community Assets, Providing Strong Public Credibility And Value.

  • To effectively communicate your brand messages to an audience of hard-to-reach influential’s and decision-makers while generating community goodwill through your association with the Chamber;
  • To provide your company with a worthwhile means of supporting Chamber policy initiatives while helping your company gain valuable exposure.
  • To offer the opportunity for companies to attach their brand to a series of worthwhile issue related public policy events at a discounted price;

Whether you employ major campaigns to influence legislation or rely on tried and true direct effort, the Call to Action sponsorship is a cost effective tool for almost any business to enhance your current activities.  Sponsorship is an efficient way to supplement your current efforts by adding your name and message to the Chamber’s public policy undertakings.  Sponsors find that aligning with the Chamber has a positive “halo effect” on their image and ultimately their initiatives by reaching decision makers and influencers through a number of mediums:  electronic, web, print, and live audience.

The Chamber will produce four relevant public policy related events between August and December 2006.  Each event will effectively deal with issues or subjects of importance throughout the region.  Each event will be marketed to the highly sought after Chamber membership, a valuable and influential target market unto itself.  The Chamber membership is made up of just over 3,000 businesses that employ over 400,000 people throughout the region.  We will supplement our reach by marketing these programs via the Chamber’s Business Today page in the San Diego Union Tribune.

Many businesses utilize sponsorship as a valuable platform to highlight what they do within and for the community.  Chamber sponsorships align companies with the Chamber’s business community assets, providing strong public credibility.  These companies also realize that sponsorship is a low cost way to help the Chamber lead the way in bettering our community while leveraging high quality visibility for their company because of their association with both the Chamber and other Call to Action sponsors.

FINANCIAL: All Chamber events are fully funded through sponsorship investment, paid audience and in-kind donations.  The Call to Action sponsorship investment is $5,000 for all four events.  Note:  corporate sponsorships are 100% tax deductible as a business expense under IRS Code section 162.

STATUS:  The Call to Action Sponsorship consists of the following events:

  • Luncheon With California Senator Dianne Feinstein (August 21)
