Better San Diego was founded by Joon S. Han as part of a multi-phase plan for the wholesale betterment of the beloved city in which his family resides and also when in his own words, “I realized that I don’t make a very good employee.”

In addition to his specialist duties with Better San Diego, Joon is also the Executive Director for Hope in the City, a community development organization serving East City Heights (www.HITCSD.org); although participation in the education of his children at Oak Park Musical Conservatory trumps both obligations. And with his abundance of left-over free time, he fits-in keynote speaking on topics ranging from leadership, systemic racism and ethics.
