Roy's making progress, which is good considering this is his last session. However, Roy came into today's session upset. In the past couple of years, he's been hit with his fair share of fees, permits and taxes, so he decided to set aside time to advocate for the interests of small business. Of course, yet again, Roy didn't necessarily choose the most appropriate way of doing this. Told Roy that over the years the Chamber has been involved with public policy issues that have successfully shaped the face of San Diego. As a member of the Chamber he can become involved and more effective at evoking change. This seemed to please Roy. He may have finally got that there's a better way to do business in San Diego.
