Four-Person Golf Scramble

The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce will hold the 8th Annual Chamber Golf Classic at Maderas Golf Club on Thursday, August 6, 2009. We are looking forward to a day of friendly fun and competition with the business community of San Diego. The format is a four-person scramble.

The tournament will be followed by a reception and awards presentation. At stake is the Chamber Cup "Perpetual Trophy" that will be presented to the overall corporate team champions. Regional businesses will be vying to have their company name permanently engraved on the cup as the 2009 Corporate Champions. This year's winner will present the Cup at next year's event.

In addition to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, recognition will be given to the winners of the following contests: Hole-in-one, closest to the pin, longest drive for male and female and longest putt for male and female.

The success of this tournament lies not only in the participation of golfers, but also in the continued support of our sponsors and prize contributors. The Classic has opportunities for businesses and individuals to donate prizes for hole contest winners, golfer goodie bags and raffle prizes.

Donate a Prize!

Prizes are needed for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place team winners, hole contests and the raffle.  In addition, there is a need for quality gifts to be contributed for the golfers’ goodie bags (155 pieces).  In appreciation, your company will be recognized as a prize/gift contributor during the tournament, at the awards reception and listed on the Chamber’s Golf Classic website.
