The inspiration for the Chamber Career Center came after the January 2006 CEO Roundtable meeting, where 67% of the executives reported that finding talented employees was their number one concern for the year ahead.  This astonishing statistic prompted the Chamber to begin composing a benefit for our members that would cater to this very need.

The search for talented employees, however, is not the sole motivation for the creation of a Chamber job board. Unparalleled company exposure cannot be overlooked. Through the Member Career Center, jobseekers can utilize the Chamber’s website for employment opportunities by learning more about the company first and job opportunities within the company second. Thereby providing a better understanding of each company than is offered through conventional career finder websites via the World Wide Web.

With more than 3,000 members representing over 400,000 employees, the Chamber is one of the most respected organizations in San Diego. The Chamber’s website alone is visited by over 40,000 people per month, making it an exceptional place to spotlight your company and your career opportunities. As a link on the Chamber Datebook, the Member Career Center will also be emailed to 10,000 subscribers per week.
