The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (or Federal Stimulus Package) was signed into law by President Barack Obama on February 17, 2009. The Recovery Act is intended to stimulate the U.S. economy in the wake of the current global economic downturn.
The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce has added this webpage to help keep interested parties informed of the latest Federal Stimulus Package related news and information. Simply “click” the various links to review articles, websites and information to stay informed on the various components, programs and activities connected to the Stimulus Package.
The Chamber is also convening stakeholders - including elected representatives, community organizations, and industry/business related organizations - to focus on maximizing our region’s ability to compete for available economic stimulus funds.
