• UCSD Extension offers an online course " Introduction to U.S. Healthcare". Class starts June 29 and is approximately eight hours long.  The class is fully online through UC San Diego Extension.  Anyone can register at any time and complete the lectures at their own pace.  The course is designed for people with little or no background in U.S. healthcare and gives an overview of the following topics:

• 36th Annual Midnight Madness Fun Bike Ride held by Hostelling International San Diego. Midnight Madness is a fun night of cycling, contests, prizes, and entertainment to support community youth programs. The 36th annual event will be held on Saturday August 15th, 2009. The cycling route is a 20-mile, primarily flat loop course along some of San Diego’s most beautiful waterfront and historic areas.
