With breathtaking mountain and valley views, Mt. Woodson Golf Club offers challenging play in one of the most dramatic settings of any of the region’s public courses. This classic 18-hole Schmidt/Curley design was patterned after more traditional courses where shot-making is at a premium.
Set amidst ancient towering oaks, huge granite boulders, and sparkling lakes, the course’s natural beauty is spectacular. Steep changes in elevation add to the special character of each hole and are captured with names such as “Drop Off,” “The Chute,” “Razor’s Edge,” and “The Plunge.” A winding 450-foot wooden bridge through the treetops also adds to the excitement of every round.

Meetings and Events
Once you pass through the Mt. Woodson entry gate, a circular stone drive leads to an ethereal setting and experience unlike any other. Set amidst towering oaks and surrounded by lush and expansive lawns, the Mt. Woodson Castle comes into view just after the first bend.
Built in 1921 and recognized in the national historic registry, the castle offers 12,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space with a number of distinctive venues for meetings, retreats and other events. From a large outdoor event on the east lawn to an intimate luncheon on the Woodson patio, each event has the touch of panache found only in such a unique location.
