The United States Karate Academy opened its doors to the public on June 18, 2007. This is the second location privately owned by Sal Convento, Chief Instructor and owner.
They take students ranging from three years to adults. Their style is traditional Tang Soo Do and Karate Do
and they are part of the World Tang Soo Do Association.

They offer morning Bootcamp workouts at the downtown Convention center from 6:00am-7:00am Monday through Friday. A second Bootcamp location is held at NTC Promenade on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11:30am-12:30pm. Bootcamp is a full body workout similar to military basic training recruits receive when they enter the military except that it is more exciting and comes with a variety of exercises.
