Chamber Holds CEO Roundtable, "History of Political Parties...Why Sacramento is So Polarized”
The Chamber recently held a CEO Roundtable on Monday,October 20, 2008, at the University Club Atop Symphony Towers. Guest speaker Jim Brulte, California Strategies, addressed the the topic of politics in Sacramento with his program, "The History of Political Parties...Why Sacramento is so Polarized."
Speaker Jim Brulte heads the Inland Empire office of California Strategies, and served 14 years in the California State Legislature, most recently as Senate Republican Leader. He was also recently appointed by President Bush to serve as a Member of the Board of Visitors of the United States Naval Academy, and appointed by Governor Schwarzenegger as a member of the Performance Review Committee.
CEO Roundtables meet once per month at the University Club, and are open to Chamber members with a gold membership or above. The roundtables serve as an opportunity for influential business leaders to meet, network and exchange ideas. Each roundtable features well-known speakers on various issues of interest to company CEOs and presidents.
