Chamber Holds Circles of Influence Reception on June 19, 2008

The Circles of Influence comprise the most supportive members of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce. Through their significant financial commitment to the Chamber, Circles members help realize the Chamber’s vision of creating and capturing opportunities to lead our region to prosperity. Circle members qualify as one of the following “Circles of Influence:” Emerald Plus, Emerald, Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze.

The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce salutes these members and thanks them for their valued support of the Chamber and its programs. In recognition of these influential members, the Chamber held a Circles of influence Reception for over 400 attendees on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at the Academy of Our Lady of Peace high school.

 

 

Founded in 1882, the Academy of Our Lady of Peace (OLP) is the oldest high school in San Diego. The present campus encompasses Italian Renaissanse estate buildings dating back to 1915. Originally known as Villa Montemar, “the house on the hill by the sea,” the school buildings and chapel were designed by I.E. Loveless, a San Diego architect known for his expertise in mission architecture. OLP is known for provided the highest quality educational experience for young women in San Diego, with a focus spiritual growth, articulate thinking, intellectual curiosity and a commitment to service. The beautiful campus was also used as a backdrop on the cover of the Spring issue of Business Action, the Chamber’s quarterly magazine.
