District of California (MWD), in partnership with the San Diego County Water Authority (CWA), to fly to Sacramento and tour the State Water Project-San Joaquin Delta to learn firsthand how dependent San Diego’s water supply is on a “healthy” Delta.

In October, I shared several tips on how to instantly increase your company’s credibility. Several members jumped right in and have already made strides to better align their brand with the Chamber’s image. This month I am concentrating on preparing for 2008. December is always an interesting month. Productivity for many businesses typically falls off because of the holidays – especially in the last two weeks of the year.

The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce hosted our popular annual legislative breakfast, "Straight Talk from Sacramento," on Friday, November 16. Using our unique proactive method of audience participation, the event provided a direct dialogue between Chamber members and the San Diego County state legislative delegation. The legislative panel included State Senators Denise Ducheny and Christine Kehoe, and Assembly members Martin Garrick, Lori Saldana and George Plescia.
