Joseph Childrey, managing partner, specializes in investment management for serious investors and 401(k) plans. Joseph has worked at well known financial institutions for the past 20 years - he began as an investment executive in 1988 at PaineWebber and then worked for 10 years at A.G. Edwards in La Jolla as a senior vice president and branch manager. He then served as senior vice president at Wells Fargo for five years. He learned his craft from talented mentors at these firms, but during his career, he became increasingly disillusioned with investment models based on high-cost, buy-and-hold, tax-inefficient strategies. Childrey Investment Partners, LLC, a Registered Investment Advisor, is the result.
