Global Universal Group

Where Business And Social Change Meet

Global Universal Group (GUG) is dedicated to building a robust social enterprise field to fund as many social change projects/programs, with our alliance to Global Universal Foundation and their commitment to making the world a better place.

Global Universal Group’s goals are:

  • To create public awareness of the value and impact of social enterprise as a means of advancing a more just and sustainable world.
  • To socially motivate entrepreneurs to become aware of, learn about and adopt social enterprise as a means of advancing their mission, and find it easier to create, finance and operate such enterprises, whether nonprofit or for-profit. They have access to learning opportunities, technical assistance, capital and resources.
  • To create a public policy, business and social climate that supports social enterprise.
  • To make positive changes in the priorities and procedures of funders and social investors, leading to increased support for social enterprise.
  • To build a supportive community/network of practitioners, educators, trainers and capacity builders engaged in advancing social enterprise.

Global Universal Group (GUG) in alliance with Global Universal Enterprise (GUE), Global Universal Systems (GUS) and our own Global Universal Foundation (GUF, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization) are aligned to create a business model comprised of proven and successful strategies that produce results.   Global Universal Foundation is operating the Green Light: Green Up Today campaign to increase environmental action within communities through education and training by young people with the intention of preparing them for a profession in the green economy.  The campaign includes several environmental projects included in the Young International Social Entrepreneurs (YISE) curriculum that promote a triple bottom line… people-planet-profits.  Additionally, these young people from high schools, colleges, and churches will set the tone in their community by greening up their own school or church.
