Roy’s

On the islands of Hawaii, fresh, local cuisine and the warm "aloha" spirit are both of the upmost importance. The blending of these two dynamic principles is how Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion® Cuisine was born.   At Roy’s, classical techniques and the exotic flavors of Asian cuisine meet Hawaiian hospitality to create a fine dining experience unlike any other.   The friendly "aloha" style of service comes straight from the heart, and any occasion becomes an unforgettable evening.

Exquisite food, an award winning wine list, world-renowned service and the flexibility to meet your party planning needs: it's the recipe for a perfect evening in La Jolla.  From business meetings to family gatherings, Roy's experienced staff can help you plan the perfect private dining event. Every affair is overseen by a knowledgeable Group Sales Manager who is dedicated to ensuring a seamless presentation.

Roy's offers menus tailored to your needs, ranging from cocktails to hors d'oeuvres to a multi-course dinner. In addition, each private dining room is set up with comprehensive presentation equipment.  Roy's private dining expertise and access to an array of helpful resources ensure a flawless experience.

Executive Chef Garrett Mukogawa’s classical French training along with his access to some of the finest produce and proteins in the world have inspired a menu crafted around the best ingredients available.  Educated at the California School of Culinary Arts and mentored by Roy Yamaguchi, Chef Mukogawa brings an unparalleled enthusiasm to the kitchens of Roy’s La Jolla.

Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion® Cuisine is one of the most unique fine dining experiences to be found on the mainland.  Nowhere else will you find Roy’s Classic Hawaiian Martini, Yamaguchi Sushi, Misoyaki Butterfish and a Chocolate Soufflé all at the same table.  So escape to paradise and experience the world’s finest cuisine served to you in the spirit of warmth and friendliness that is Hawaii.

Beginning Feb 1, Roy's invites you to join us in the lounge for Aloha Hour each weekday evening from 4:30 to 6:30pm.  Roy’s La Jolla offers the perfect respite from the long workday, with an intriguing selection of menu and bar items for just $5.

Roy’s La Jolla is open from 5:00 to 9:00pm Sunday and Monday, 5:00-9:30pm Tuesday-Thursday, and from 5:00-10:00pm on Friday and Saturday.  Visit Roy's at 8670 Genesee Avenue (between Bus Access Road and Esplanade Court).  To see a complete menu or to make a reservation, visit Roy’s online at www.roysrestaurant.com or call (858) 455-1616.
