Education & Workforce Development Committee 

Excellence in education and workforce preparedness are key factors in continued economic prosperity of our region. The Chamber advocates for quality education programs, including expanding Career Technical Education (CTE), increasing standards for all students through college preparation classes and supporting math, science and technology curriculum. Job training programs are critical elements in ensuring employers have access to qualified employees.

The committee currently has ample representation from the education community. We invite employers interested in making a well-rounded difference in education to participate. The committee meets the second Wednesday of each month. Next meeting: Wednesday, January 13, 7:30 a.m. at the Chamber.
